Annabelle M. Rinehart
FOUNDER + DIRECTOR
Annabelle M. Rinehart is an art lover, collector and public relations veteran. Before founding AMR Art DUMBO, Annabelle worked in Manhattan as a communications advisor to companies in crisis. After over 15 “intense and fascinating” years, she left to build upon her life-long interest in art.
As a native New Yorker, Annabelle developed a passion for art since a young age. It was Blue II (1961) – an enveloping and playful painting by Spanish surrealist Joan Miró – that inspired new joy and a poignant appreciation for art's role in the human experience. Annabelle continued to explore and learn about art, art history and the business of art. She is an avid collector who prides herself on maintaining strong bonds with artists, performers, collaborators and curators. Annabelle has a keen eye for strong expression. She provides a clear point of view regarding the art market and what constitutes value.
Annabelle founded AMR Art DUMBO to unite artists with active and budding collectors; build conversation, connection and community; and foster meaningful outcomes for artists and collectors.
Annabelle graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A. in Art History.
